And so begins my return to all things Lost in preparation for the Groundhog Day premiere. I’m going to attempt to rewatch all 103 episodes over the next 28 days. And so I can remember what the heck is going on. I’ll be posting episode summaries. To make it as basic as possible, I’m ONLY going to use simple sentences. This will be tricky because I love, love commas and rambling, but I’m determined to make it happen.
Jack (aka Charlie from Party of Five) wakes up. The plane has crashed. People are screaming. Jack starts helping people. Claire is having contractions. Jack tells Hurley to watch Claire. Boone (now Damon Salvatore on Vampire Diaries) is also helping people. Jack is rude to him. Plane blows up. Charlie (a hobbit from LOTR) is just wandering around. Dramatic music plays. Jack walks around. Jack goes into the woods. Jack takes off his shirt. Kate immediately shows up. Typical. Jack asks Kate to sew up his wounds. She does. Sawyer smokes a cigarette. Hurley finds food. John Locke is sitting on the beach. Boone tries to use a phone. Sayid is building a fire. He asks Charlie to help. Shannon is painting her toenails. She thinks they’re getting rescued soon. Good luck with that. Jin is bossy. He doesn’t speak English. Jack doesn’t remember the crash. Kate does. The front and tail of the plane aren’t on the beach. Hmm… Jack wants to find the cockpit. Kate wants to come. Of course she does. There are weird noises in the jungle. *Time Out* Jack is on the plane. Jack gets free booze. Turbulence hits. Rose is nervous. Bernard is in the crapper. More turbulence. Shit hits the fan. *Time In* Kate takes a dead girl’s shoes. John Locke smiles at her. It’s strange. Hurley wants to get rid of the b-o-d-y-s. Jack is going to find the cockpit. He puts Boone in charge. Charlie wants to go with Jack and Kate. Kate recognizes Charlie. Charlie is in Driveshaft (“You all everybody!”). John Locke is sitting alone. It’s raining like a mofo. People take cover. John Locke stays in the rain. More creepy noises. They find the cockpit. Jack busts open the door. One of the pilot falls out. Jack asks Kate if she’s okay. He doesn’t ask Charlie. Rude. The other pilot (Sean from Felicity) is still alive. The plane’s radio went out six hours in. The plane was way off course. Awesome news. They find the transceiver. It’s busted. Charlie is missing. He comes out of the bathroom. Weird noises. Something pulls the pilot out of the plane. Jack, Kate and Charlie start running. Charlie trips. Jack goes to help out. Kate is alone. She starts ugly crying. Charlie finds Kate. Kate is pissed Jack is gone. Kate goes back for Jack. Charlie notices Kate only cares about Jack. Jack shows up. The pilot is in the tree. He has been mauled like whoa. The End.
